UStudy places high school students from 11 – 19 years of age in both public and private high schools throughout the US. The choice of location and school is custom made for the student – keeping in mind his or her goals and available budget. Students can live with a host family (arranged through the school or a homestay program), or live in a dorm on campus. Some students may want to simply get a taste of a different range of subjects and sports for an academic semester or a year, even after high school graduation in their home country.
Approximate costs for public school: From US $4,500 per semester, inclusive of tuition, housing and meals.
Approximate costs for private school: From US $7,500 per semester, inclusive of tuition, housing and meals.
Registration must be arranged no less than 3 months prior to the start of semester.
“We have worked with UStudy for 7 years. They have recommended students to us and Marina’s insight into the students’ and families needs and expectations led to a “perfect fit”. UStudy provided complete and comprehensive information and when communication support was needed with a family, they provided it quickly and professionally. It has been a pleasure working with them. I can recommend UStudy to anyone without reservation” – Mary Ann Gessner, Director of Admissions at St. Johnsbury Academy.
